2018 Book List
This was a great year of reading! I thoroughly enjoyed most of the books I read, so it was tough to pick a favorite. But ultimately, I’m going to go with Children of Blood and Bone. I hadn’t read a young adult fantasy series since Harry Potter so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I could not stop talking about this book once I was finished. Anytime someone asked for a book recommendation this was the first book I threw out with no hesitation. With two more books in the series, I can’t wait to see how the plot develops.
Runner-ups for my favorite were An American Marriage and of course, Auntie Michelle’s book Becoming. But as mentioned, most of these are great reads. Let me know in the comments if you’ve read any of these and what you thought about them.
